Unable To Connect To Myhosting From Outlook For Mac

I cannot connect to remote scripts, RSS feeds or use cURL on my website? What will happen when my hosting account reaches the traffic limit? The error I receive is 'Outlook is unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP).

URL: Outlook 2016 supports Exchange 2010 or higher version. Outlook 2019 supports Exchange 2013 or higher version. Note: Outlook for Mac is supported on the three most recent versions of macOS. To set up Outlook 2016/2019 for Mac: Note: we recommen d creating a new profile before setting up a new account. Read the Knowledge Base article on for more information. Open Outlook and navigate to Menu Bar Tools Accounts.

In the Accounts window, click the + sign in the lower left-hand corner and click New Account. In the new window, enter the email address and click Continue. In case server settings were not found automatically, Outlook will ask about email provider. For Exchange account select Exchange, for Office 365 choose Office365. In the new window, fill in the following fields:. Method: select Username and Password.

E-mail address: enter primary email address (UPN) for your Exchange mailbox. User name: e nter your primary email address.

Password: enter your mailbox password. Server: only fill in the server if there is no for your domain.

Important: to protect your account information, we cannot publish your Server names in the public Knowledge Base. To find out the correct server name, navigate to HostPilot速 Control Panel Home Exchange servers and settings Exchange proxy setting. Use it to create server name of the format: where west.exchXXX.serverdata.net is your Exchange Proxy Setting and west. Depends on your Default Exchange Server.

Outlook will attempt to determine settings for your Exchange account automatically. If this is successful you will see a prompt as below. Check the Always use my response for this server box and click Allow. Click Add Account.

The account is now set up and you can use it to send and receive email. To perform Global Address List lookups, you need to configure Directory Service. Read the Knowledge Base article on for instructions.

Option	Description
Account description	This is how your account is labeled in Outlook. If you have more than one account, choose descriptive names so you can better differentiate between your accounts.
Full name	This is how your name appears in the From field of email messages you send.
Email address	Type your complete email address, such as someone@example.com.
User name	Depending on your email provider, this is usually either your full email address or the part of your email address before the '@' symbol.
Password	This is the password you'll use to access your account. The password is usually case-sensitive.
Incoming server	The incoming mail server for an IMAP account may also be called the IMAP server. For example, if your email provider is example.com, the incoming mail server is likely imap-mail.example.com.
Override default port	To be able to edit the port number that follows the server address, select this check box.
Use SSL to connect (recommended)	Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is an encryption technology that helps improve the security of your account.
Outgoing server	This server sends your messages. It may also be called the SMTP server. For example, if your email provider is example.com, the outgoing mail server is likely smtp-mail.example.com.
Override default port	To be able to edit the port number that follows the server address, select this check box.
Use SSL to connect (recommended)	Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is an encryption technology that helps improve the security of your account.
More Options	Click the More Options button to enter authentication for the outgoing server or to set an unqualified domain.
